The College of Charleston officially kicked off the cross country season as the women won outright while the men took third at the Western Carolina Invitational on Saturday.

With September at last upon us, fall sports have finally begun, and this weekend will mark the debut for the 2015 women's cross country season.

The College of Charleston men's and women's cross country and women's track and field program has added 12 newcomers for the 2015-16 season, as announced by head coach Amy Seago on Thursday.
